The sire of "GRALSRITTER I" comes from the "GRANDE" Hannoverian line which together with "FRUSTRA II" has given a large number of descendents with outstanding jumping ability, as shown by that other famous stallion from the same origins, "GRANNUS".

     "DIGA", dam of "GRALSRITTER II", is out of "DINAR", from the "DEISTER" line, all-time best German showjumper ridden by Paul Schockemöhle. "GOTTARD" was a top showjumper sire.

     On the basis of marks received in the official Hannoverian breeding tests, as well as her qualities and conformation, "DIGA" is also a state-certified prize mare (ST.PR.ST).

     "GRALSRITTER" is the sire of countless top competition showjumpers, among which the following deserve special mention:
          - "GAY LORD" (Ludger Beerbaum), Winner of countless Volvo Cup Grands Prix, European Grands Prix, countless, etc.
          - "GRANDEUR" (Thomas Frühmann), 3 time Winner of the German Gran Prix, World Champion in Hertogenbosch, countless Nations Cups, etc., with winnings of over a million and a half German marks.
          - "GRAF GRANDE", Team Silver Medal in the Barcelona Olympics for Austria, and ridden later by Luciana Diniz for Brasil in many Nations Cups.
